Senior Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Develop, prepare, maintain & analyze financial reporting including: Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flows and other statements as required. Assist in preparation of monthly narrative analysis.
  • Perform and/or supervise the performance of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
  • Lead, manage direct reports and provide a positive working environment including coaching and development
  • Responsible for on-going review and audit of company financial systems and activities to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
  • Develop, maintain and analyze methods of costing products and services. Provide communication that utilizes that information to make improvements.
  • Work with outside service providers performing annual reviews and/or audits.
  • Work with outside service providers to prepare tax returns.
  • Work with outside service provider to maintain and process payroll related information.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and audits.


Education & Qualifications


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
  • An understanding of GAAP in relation to inventory.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment required.
  • 7-12 years experience in finance/accounting is required, cost accounting experience a plus
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting personnel supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Auditing preferred



CNC Milling Machinist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for setting up, operating, and programming a 2012 DMG 65 Monoblock CNC milling machine with Siemens control and Hypermill CAM software.
  • Must be able to complete machining operations from CAD models, blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions.
  • Applies machining knowledge to suggest fixturing concepts, select optimal cutting tools, adjust feed and speed, and maximize wheel and/or cutting tool life.
  • Perform in-process and work with QA to execute first-article inspections. Inspect and verify parts by using precision gages including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bores gages. Determine cutting tools to be used and methods of holding and aligning work. Improvise and adapt tooling, fixtures, and other machining aids.
  • Apply computer skills to access and record electronic information, for blueprinting and first article inspections. Maintains an accurate daily log of parts processed, significant dimensions, machining parameters, and general information pertaining to the operations performed as required.


Education & Qualifications

  • Formal Journeyman, Apprentice, training, or schooling preferred.

  • Ability to interpret basic Geometric, Dimensioning, and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Prefer Candidates with Hypermill or Mastercam experience . Can operate M & G Code or other CAM software

  • 5-axis programming is a plus

Procurement Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Interfaces with EPS Planners, Engineers and Production personnel to plan and prioritize purchasing items.
  • Reviews planned orders and assists with and generates required Purchase Requisitions leading to a Purchase Order.
  • Transmits and prioritizes approved Purchase Orders and supporting documents to the suppliers.
  • Provides a single point of contact with the supplier documenting any required Purchase Order changes (cost, schedule, quantities, shipping guidance, etc.) and notifies internal EPS stakeholders of these changes.
  • Tracks order acknowledgment, prepares and communicates shortage and back-log reports, providing visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
  • Tracks supplier performance, confirming supplier deliveries until the Purchase Order is closed.
  • Ensures Purchase Orders and associated contracts adhere to EPS procedures, Regulatory requirements, and Supplier agreements and contracts; reports non-conformances to Management.
  • Interfaces with Finance, the receiving function, and the Supplier to resolve all shipping/receiving and invoice discrepancies.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies.
  • Contributes to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the Approved Supplier base.


Education & Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree, or industry experience equivalent in the fields of supply chain management, or purchasing.
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials and components.
  • Familiarity with FAA procurement requirements.

Test Engineer

  • Develops product testing approaches by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying test engineering concept approaches, techniques, and criteria; adapting and modifying test engineering options; developing and evaluating test methodologies
  • Supports FAA Certification testing and test plans
  • Identifies product failures by establishing test standards, methods, test environment; analyzing and evaluating findings and failures; identifying root causes
  • Documents test studies by recording test results; preparing reports; and maintaining test database
  • Setup of design of experiments (DOE)
  • Supports continuous improvement activities and quality improvement initiatives within the Test Development team
  • Assure(s) calibration records of all instrumentation necessary for data acquisition
  • Ability to prepare graphic material for analysis of test results
  • Maintenance of testing logs to document R&D activities
  • Willing to travel to perform testing in “field test environment”




  • B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related field, along with experience as described below.
  • Understanding of basic engine fundamentals and performance metrics
  • Strong understanding of test standards, and equipment
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of test methods for design verification testing and durability– a plus
  • Engine testing and data acquisition experience a plus
